why i use pagecord

You can't do much in Pagecord, and that's why I love it. It's for blogging and that's pretty much it. And that's wonderful.

Let me, for example, talk about the Bethesda game Starfield, which is over 150 gigabytes in size. You can do a lot of in Starfield. In fact, when I started playing it I spent an hour designing what my character looked like. After 20 minutes of fussing over the width of my character's eyebrows, though, I realized that I was wasting my life. Playing the game is the game, and I kind of wished the burden of finding the perfect mouth-shape would be lifted from me.

Writing is the game for blogging. Pagecord recognizes that, and so it has limited options. It makes writing easier by allowing posting by email, which I love. And, although it does have some social media-type options, you can opt out of all of them, which I have.

And it has Olly, who is kind, responsive, and interesting to talk to.

[In fact, I advise Olly to establish a third subscription tier in which you get to chat with him on occasion. He really is that interesting and fun to talk to and no, he didn't pay me or encourage me in any way to write this. :-) ]

The point is: Pagecord is great because I actually use it.
